Imaginary Authors – Sundrunk tells the story of Clementine Cope, who knew the moment she stepped into snow deeper than her knees that it would be the last time. Leaving behind her rural Montana home with no fixed plans, she decided to follow the setting sun, waking each morning with a new goal: to chase warmth. Along the way, she daydreamed of Dennis Wilson, push pops in the sand, and the allure of convertibles. Her journey took her thousands of miles and rewarded her with her first glimpse of the ocean. By the time summer arrived, Clem was filled with an overwhelming joy she couldnt fully understand. Her travels eventually brought her to a ramshackle surf camp, where she found a new community of friends from the hills of Topanga, California. Its here, at last, that she realizes her journey is only just beginning.
