With Atman Xaman, master perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi takes us into the profoundly mysterious world of shamans – mystics with an extraordinary ability to mediate between the human and spirit world.

Villoresi has captured the captivating, almost strange allure of the shamanic world by weaving a tangle of citrus fruits and herbs into a dark, sensual background of aromatic woods, sensual immortelle, spiced vanilla, and rugged vetiver.

THE SCENT

Opening with a bright pop of mandarin peel against an Italianate medley of spicy green herbs, the scent takes on the verdant bitterness of a transparent mate tea, before unfolding into an incredibly warm and sensual leather and tobacco heart. The leather forms a refined, suede-like skin against the rougher, more rustic tobacco leaf. It smells wonderfully dry, masculine, and Italian in its handsomeness. Musk, amber, and a curlicue of immortelle gives the base a sweet warmth that tugs the leather in a boozier, richer, and altogether more animalic direction, but without ever once losing its sense of refinement and brio.
