Hinoki is the first fragrancein the collaborative niche fragrance series created by Comme des Garons and Monocle Magazine. The composition is a blend of satisfyingly dry, warm woods with subtle herbs and incense.

The inspiration for this fragrance comes from a perfectly still, slightly chilly spring morning spent soaking in a tub at the Tawaraya in Kyoto. It pulls together memories of the mosses and trees outdoors with the sharp notes of the hinoki wood tub
