Acqua di Gio Profumo is the successor to Armani’s wildly popular, Acqua di Gio launched in 1996. ‘Acqua di Gio means ‘water of joy’ in Italian. Armani claims this perfume is inspired by the Mediterranean sea. Consequently, the perfume opens with notes of mineral marine leading to frankincense and patchouli.
