Batucada is a substyle of samba, a cultural dance from Rio de Janeiro. It was the inspiration for the perfumers Karine Vinchon and Elisabeth Maier to create Batucada by LArtisan Parfumeur. It is a fragrance for men and women launched in 2011. The fragrance also epitomizes two of the wonderful places in the world, Grasse in France and Sao Paulo, Brazil. This exquisite perfume emerges with a blast of Caipirinha, an elixir composed of mint leaves, lime and cachaca. The heart beats with ylang-ylang and tiare and it rests on the soothing aromas of seawater, salt and coconut.
